The layout of the Center comprises 2 buildings divided by a courtyard. In the main residential building there are the kitchen, the dining room, the living room, 16 bedrooms with bathrooms, and a laundry room. The second building accommodates the academic facilities including the main classroom and the library and computer lab, the faculty room, the office, and a multi-purpose classroom. An apartment and 5 student bedrooms with bathrooms are located on upper floors.
The University of Portland rents the premises of the Salzburg Center from the Zöhrer family.
